Choosing a wedding photographer can be INCREDIBLY stressful. I totally get that. We have a plethora of talented people in this area and narrowing it down to just one person or company is a challenge for sure. You have a ton on your plate already: selecting a venue, choosing the caterer, the planner, the florist... sounds daunting doesn't it?
Well I'm going to take the time here to tell you a little about me and why I may or may not be the right wedding photographer for you. The most important thing for both of us is the feeling that we are going to enjoy working together and be satisfied with the end results. We both want the same thing: beautiful captivating images that tell the story of your big day! Memories captured in time that you can look back on for years to come.
I started my own photography company in early 2015 after working with another wedding studio in Charlotte for 4 years (they taught me everything!). I have been to all of the big venues in Charlotte and I am well connected with other vendors in the industry. I have the experience and the equipment to be a professional. This is surely my foundation.
I connect. With you and your fiancé.. with your family and friends. I'm a very social person and I absolutely love getting to know you and yours. I am a photographer because I love what I do and the people I get to meet. With this is mind, I am able to create a fun, relaxing environment where brides and their counterparts feel comfortable to participate in front of the lens. How are you expected to smile if your photographer isn't smiling back at you?
I am a serious advocate for marriage. I am 13 years married now with the love of my life. I know how special this day is going to be for you. I know how important it is to have REAL support from friends and family. How the vows are not just words read from a script but are truly sacred promises you make to your other half. How the emotions that come flooding out on the dance floor with Dad will strengthen your relationship like no other experience. How when you wake up the next day post wedding production, you feel like you're on top of the world. Cloud 9. The start of an adventure, the peaceful calm of looking out onto the horizon and for the first time feeling the warmth of a sun that tells you everything is going to be okay.. in fact; everything is going to be wonderful. I've been there. I know how magical marriage can be... and it is my job to capture that magic.
I will spare you the boring details of the rest of my life but I will surely list out the highlights: I am a Charlotte native (born in NJ but I've been here since I was 9.), a Carolina ALUM (go tar heels!), a foodie, a cook, a gardener and an animal lover. My favorite place in the world is New York City (where I met my hubs). My favorite country to visit is Italy. I keep my work week flexible so I can spend as much time as possible with my three kids: Dov, Elroy, and Camila. (ages 11, 8, and 1). My husband Roey is from Israel and he is an amazing bass player and music teacher (at the house that rocks). Together we own a farm in Richfield, NC where we share a music/photography studio. We have 2 dogs, a cat and 3 horses. If I'm not with the kids or working, I'll be outside working with my horses or thrift shopping my way through Charlotte's menagerie of second hand shops.
Behind everything I'm an artist and a storyteller. Let's meet over coffee and talk wedding details, I would love to meet you and tell YOUR story!
